Pink Bubbles

The 40th annual Festival of Trees kicked off another year with a Decorators Meeting held at the Hyatt Regency in beautiful downtown Greenville.

This event is sponsored by Bon Secours St. Francis Foundation.  The meeting opened with a wonderful welcome by Director Erik Whaley, who shared encouragement and gratefulness for another opportunity to celebrate the season with this wonderful event. He reminded us of Colossians 3:23: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men..."

Major Gifts Officer, Susannah Pazdan Hogg, led the meeting. Her enthusiam filtered over all of us. Wonderful refreshments, fabulous giveways, and great take-home water bottles and coffee mugs made the evening a time of true celebration.

The Festival of Trees chair for LCS, Frankie Summey, Liberty Community Scholarship Chair, Lisa Carpenter, and Liberty Community Scholarship Secretary, Tracy Morgan enjoyed this wonderful as well as informative meeting. We are ready to participate in this annual event geared toward helping the community advanced in better health services.

We are also grateful for Lillibridge Health Care Services who is graciously sponsoring LCS with a gorgeous 9ft Christmas tree to decorate to showcase our scholarship opportunities.

Coffee Break

Wait...what...we still have 1,000 lights to hang.
More coffee, please.

How it ended.

We had so much fun being a part of the 40th Annual Festival of Trees.
Our Festival of Trees Chair, Frankie Summey, left in the picture, had a vision from the start. "Shooting for the Stars" isn't just a theme for her, it's a motto. Thank you, Frankie, for all of your heart and encouragement to make our dreams come true.

We so appreciate the leadership of our Liberty Community Scholarship Chair and our Festival of Trees Chair. Thank you, ladies, for your leadership.
