The Liberty Community Scholarship is proud to announce the generosity of the Eric Boughman family as the 2025-2026 sponsor of the LCS website, a scrapbook of the, now, decade-long work of the board which, in addition to two scholarships to assist in the funding of college bound students, one small business scholarship and a fourth scholarship, new 2026, for the post-secondary two-year technical school student, also includes an annual Christmas card art contest to promote scholarship awareness and celebrate young artists; a second invitation to the 40th Annual Festival of Trees at the Hyatt to celebrate LCS recipients, and a mural at the Pickens County Airport Playground to gift our large LCS family: recipients, sponsors, educators, community leaders, airport enthusiasts and friends!
Houston Boughman is a 2019 Liberty Community Scholarship recipient, a Clemson University graduate with a degree in environmental engineering. He is currently an engineering consultant with Hodges, Harbin, Newberry and Tribble, a leader in his field.
In addition to supporting the work of the Liberty Community Scholarship, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Boughman have, themselves, awarded a scholarship through the years. They are long-time Liberty residents and faithfully serve this community.

What a Great September Meeting!

The Liberty Community Scholarship Board would like to thank Representative Davey Hiott for his donation to cover the cost of the Liberty Community Scholarship Post Office Box. He has been a supporter since 2020.
The LCS Board ensures all donations made to the scholarships funding are marked 100% for the scholarships granted to our recipients.
